Saturday, the K-ovs are back from Tuscany

Early start for them -- to take Masha and Vanya to the airport -- late start for us. Lunch-brunch, then a trip to Vitorchiano.










Not a great day weatherwise. The castle in Soriano inexplicably closed. Villa Lante in Bagnaia closes at 4:30 in winter; we were there at 4:20.



Not such a great sightseeing day, perhaps, but good food (gnocchi with mushrooms, rabbit niçoise), wine (Nero d'Avola), and company. S said "better than agriturismo."
